
Mary Davis, DVM
Dr. Mary Powell Davis grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended The Dunham School. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Science from Louisiana State University in 2016. After staying close to home for her undergraduate degree, Dr. Davis matriculated at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland to complete her veterinary degree.
Dr. Davis has spent the past 6 years working in companion animal practice and is excited to serve the community she grew up in. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery and preventive medicine, but her favorite part of practicing is getting to know her clients and cultivating meaningful relationships with them and their pets. At home in the Garden District, Dr. Davis enjoys working out, baking, and spending time with her husband and business partner, Robert, and their sons.

Alexandra Morales, DVM
Dr. Alexandra Morales was born on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and developed a love of animals from an early age.
Dr. Morales completed her undergraduate degree at Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico with a major in Biology and a minor in Foreign Languages. After graduating, she decided to take some time off to travel and do some farm work in the South of France before starting her veterinary medicine degree at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!). During that time, Dr. Morales enjoyed spending her free time visiting family back in Puerto Rico, reading, learning how to macramé, and caring for her pets.
After graduation, Dr. Morales practiced veterinary medicine in Austin, Texas for 3 years. Now, she and her husband have decided to return to sweet ole’ Baton Rouge and make it their forever home with their 2 children and 2 dogs. Dr. Morales has a special interest in integrating Western and Eastern medicine to provide the best care possible for her patients. Educating clients about their pets is one of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine. Dr. Morales is fluent in English and Spanish and is able to use this to help Capital Heights better communicate and cater to our clients. She can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends at Capital Heights!

Madison Miller, DVM
Dr. Madison Miller is originally from Indiana. She pursued her passion for animal health at Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in agriculture in 2022. She went on to complete her doctorate at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.
Dr. Miller has a special interest in dermatology and preventative medicine. She is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment for clients and their pets!
At home, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Aurora and Labrador, Gaelic. She can’t wait to meet you!
